Solanco students to be honored at Carnegie Hall

Solanco High School students Erika Wilson and Ciana Malchione are being recognized as among the most talented high school artists in the entire country!
The Alliance for Young Artists & Writers has named them 2017 Scholastic Art National Medalists and both have been invited to attend a ceremony in their honor at the world-famous Carnegie Hall in New York City on Thursday (June 8).

Erika’s Breakfast in Bed Tea Set and Ciana’s Musing have been selected as among the most accomplished in the nation.

“Ciana and Erika are honored and thrilled!,” Solanco High School art teacher Candace Rakers said.
