School board approves $50.93-million budget for 2014-2015 – budget is within the state’s Act 1 cap

The Solanco School Board has adopted a $50.93-million budget for the 2014-2015 school year. The budget includes a tax increase of 2.5-percent which meets the state’s Act 1 cap of 2.5-percent for Solanco. Solanco’s millage rate will increase from the current 11.5161 to 11.8040 mills.
