INVITATION TO BID
The Solanco School District, Quarryville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania will receive bids for a
Boiler Replacement at Quarryville Elementary School. Bids will be received until April 13, 2023,
at 2:00 PM, prevailing time.
Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes marked “Boiler Replacement at Quarryville
Elementary School Bid” and delivered to the Solanco School District Business Office, 121 South
Hess Street, Quarryville, PA 17566‐1225.
The bids will be publicly opened and read. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the
form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond of a surety company legally authorized to do
business in the Commonwealth of PA, in the amount equal to ten (10%) of the bid.
No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the actual opening
of bids.
Solanco School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to accept or reject any parts
thereof, or items therein, and to waive any defects or irregularities in bids and bid securities, and
to make the award that is determined to be in the best interest of the District.
Electronic Bidding Documents may be secured by bona‐fide bidders on or after March 15, 2023.
All bidder are required to obtain Bid Documents through Moore Engineering Company or their
bids can be rejected. Bidders shall send request and a non‐refundable fee of $25.00 to Moore
Engineering Company, 3637 Columbia Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17603. Once the fee is received,
the electronic Bid Documents will be forwarded via email.
