Solanco School District, Quarryville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania will receive electronic bids for construction of Navien Tankless Water System at Solanco High School, a prevailing wage project. Bids will be received until January 3, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., prevailing time.
Bids shall be submitted electronically to Pennbid at: https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/ The bid opening will take place on January 3, 2025, at 1:00 pm and be displayed in the Pennbid system. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond of a surety company legally authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in an amount equal to ten (10%) of the bid. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the actual opening of bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Contractor’s Qualification Statement.
Solanco School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to accept or reject any parts thereof, or items therein, and to waive any defects or irregularities in bids and bid securities, and to make the award that is determined to be in the best interest of the District.
Electronic Bidding Documents may be secured by bona-fide bidders on or after December 4, 2024. All bidders are required to obtain Bid Documents through Pennbid or their bids can be rejected.
The project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, P.L. 744 and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Acts.
Bidders shall refer to the provisions of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prevailing minimum wage rates (Act 442 of 1961, P.L. 987, amended).
