The Early Learning Program is for children prior to beginning kindergarten.  Our goal is to connect, inspire, and empower parents as their child’s first teacher through interactive experiences that build on early literacy and math skills.   

By registering your child(ren) for our Early Learning Program you will be signing up to receive information about our upcoming events and activities such as Adventures in the Park, Open Gym, evening events and more!

* Registration is required for all programs and families must reside in the Solanco School District.**

Our Parent-Child Workshop series will be held at Quarryville Elementary on Monday afternoons from 2-3PM or at Clermont Elementary on Tuesday mornings from 10-11AM beginning January 5th/6th. This four week series focuses on tips for how pre-k and kindergarten concepts can be taught and reinforced at home for early learners. This series is for 3-5 year olds. Registration is required.

Our second STEM Night series will take place on Wednesday, January 14th from 4:30-5:30PM at Quarryville Elementary. Families with children ages 2-5 are encouraged to join us for STEM activities and to learn how to incorporate STEM concepts at home! Families in attendance will receive a free book and be entered into a STEM giveaway. RSVP is required and will close on January 5th.

Our Parent Information Night for incoming kindergarten students for the 2026-27 school year will be held on Monday, February 9th from 6:30-7:30PM in Solanco High School cafeteria. Childcare will be provided for children ages 3 and older. Families in attendance will learn about the screening process, sign up for a screening appointment in March, and receive a kindergarten kit. Infants 0-6 months who reside in the school district are eligible for a goodie bag with fun activities and more. It’s free!
