Summary
The Solanco School District has added a 2nd School Resource Officer (SRO), Officer Cheryl Thompson. Officer Thompson joins Officer Dilworth as our two School Resource Officers. The SRO program is one of many safety initiatives either currently in place or scheduled to be in place. While Officer Thompson will be available in all Solanco schools, she will focus on being present at our elementary schools. The role of our SRO’s, which primarily is to build positive relationships with students, is also to audit our buildings and procedures to ensure safe campuses. Welcome Officer Thompson!
