The Solanco School Board has approved a final 55.7-million budget for the 2016-2017 school year. It contains a tax increase of 2.90-percent, which is the limit established by Act 1 for Solanco for the 2016-2017 school year. Homeowners will pay an additional $35.08 per $100,000 assessment.
